When working backstage.... either in rehearsal or even during show.... wireless internet access has achieved that status of a "RIGHT". In my business (Convention audio-visual support) I and my colleagues spend HOURS in a dark ballroom sitting through CEO briefings, Training Session, or just rehearsals. If we don't have a way to entertain ourselves we would all just slip into comas! And yet I will say that each of us is a professional and doesn't let it interfere with our jobs. In fact I would volunteer that it actually is MORE productive to have internet access. That way you can book reservations on-line (while completing your work or even servicing someone on the phone), research a technical issue, e-mail documents and information, etc. Instead of wasting time on hold on the phone or with manually trying to obtain information through dry and voluminous manuals and such.
