know what i love?

When my children create loathsome messes in the kitchen, for instance soggy bowls of breakfast cereal, and then ask me, "Mom, what are you going to do with those bowls? They're disgusting, they need to be out of the house."

I love that.

Just tell them that you looked up the solution to disgusting soggy cereal bowls on line and it came up with two suggestions:

1) starve your children to the point that they will eat every single Frosted Flake or Froot Loop from their breakfast bowls

or:

2) Make it your childrens responsibility to clean their own bowls... no matter what horrible state they left them in!

Either way they still need to give their mother a hug and a sweet kiss and thank her for her saintly patience with them!

Yes, Charise I feel your soggy pain. I have this problem with Austin. He's 7 yet can't clear his plate and since he is not my child I have no authority to require this of him. Therefore, tis I who deals with the moist, milky remains of his barely touched breakfast. Austin, if you're reading this boy, you'd best enjoy this whilst you can. Soon as the babies arrive, you'll be doing a lot more cleaning! Mha ha ha ha ha h ah aha ha hah !!

I can't blame Teague yet for that - but I do sometimes remove a soggy diaper and leave it on the floor for my foot to discover in the morning. It's loads of fun.

Awww, poor Austin. He is soon to be in charge of disgarding his leftover Cap'n Mush.

And, I think I have stepped on a cold soggy diaper or two in my child-rearing. [shudders at thought]
