Reminiscing (another blogette)

Nick, do you remember when we saw Moby at Wiltern and they played "Lift Me Up"? I think that was one of the greatest nights of my life. Even afterwards in the parking lot was memorable. I can still taste the 25 cent grape soda.

Suzy, do you remember when we saw Wilco at the Wiltern and he his encore went so long and my feet were hurting so bad from the high-heeled boots I wore and the scene was sickeningly, beautifully, painfully coooool. I can still taste the 3.25 Diet Cokes.

Michele, remember when we saw Garbage at the House of Blues and I was underage but you still let me "sneak" off of your Long Island iced teas? Then, afterwards when we went to the bar and a pimp came in with a gun looking for his beeyotch? I can still taste the vomit in my mouth from throwing up after the pimp left.

Now girls--it's time to share some of your favorite memories!

Nick-do you remember when we spent Valentine's day together? We had din-din at McDonald's, and saw Bye Bye Love and then watched Molly Ringwald movies and ate juju hearts? That was the best V-Day I ever had. I can still taste the juju hearts.

Charise-do you remember when we went to Wilco at the Wiltern and we were lost in Los Angeles for a long time, but then we stopped at El Pollo Loco and had delicious chicken taquitos, and when we found our way, it turned out Wilco hadn't even taken the stage yet? It was perfect! I can still taste the taquitos!

Michelle-do you remember when we spent Christmas in South Beach, Miami just the two of us? We laid by the pool, drank soders, snorkeled, had tasty dinners, etc? I can still taste the sea water in my snorkel and the lobster from my plate!

Awesome blog Charise!

Charise, do you remember seeing Moby at Brick's under the moonlight of an open courtyard. And he did Jam for the Ladies and Dave's obnoxious friend was yelling at him through the link fence. And then afterwords I peed in front of a homeless guy and sent you back to that dark corner to pee...I can still taste the fear.

Suzy, do you remember the Warp Tour that me and Randy took you to? And you got tossed up on the crowd in an involuntary crowd surf. You were wearing that bright green tankie top and it got lost there. Do you remeber the slurpees we got afterward and the movie "weird science". I can still tast that sweet slurpee...

Michele, do you remeber that day we went up to Mt. Charlston and hung out at the resort all day, I recall smoking as the afternoon sunlight came into the tree-room and it was sort of crisp, but a very old fashioned day. Someone was getting married and I think we made fun of them. I can still taste the Marbolos...

Thank you Charise and Suzy for finally sharing a "remembery" with me that didn't have an aftertaste of marlboro, vomit, bad mexican food, or drowning.

Nikki - remember waaaaaaaaay back in the Salt Lake house when you me and your barbies had a little (itsy bitsy) barbeque in the front yard? I can still taste the greasy purloined bacon!

Charise - remember when you and I went on a drive before dinner at Grandmas. And we found a field of beautiful blue flowers.... so we decided to pick a bouquet for Grandma. But they were so fragile that the mere act of picking them shook their petals off. And we were confused to look down and see nothing but a bouquet of stems? I can still smell the confusion.

Suzy - Do you remember hiking Angels Landing on our girls trip. I was the "BIG SISTER IS WATCHING" and I was so nervous about you and Heather (Kelsea isn't family) that I about wanted to faint with concern! I can still smell my nervous sweat!

Ant - Do you remember that night at the airport it was a TOTAL blizzard? I don't even know how we got home. I can still smell the cold blue snow!
